8.75 pints for 8.99 isn't a good deal?

Old Jenny Spiced Mead - Delicious. :)

A.N. Old-Hippy's homebrew mead in 5-litre canisters that may once have held engine oil - Bad, truly evil stuff & I've only been sicker or had such a bad hangover on one other thing!

That Moniack stuff they sell in Tesco, Sainsbury & other places. Tolerable - the new recipie is much less sweet than the old.

Good Wheat Beer - Bloody delicious! :)

I even converted a number of hardened Irish Stout drinkers to the stuff on my recent trip to Germany. In an Irish bar as well! :D

Traditional mead, from Lyme Bay Winery this is

14.5%!! No fucking wonder we were wankered! Absolutely nowt to do with the booze sunk beforehand:)

Me thinks firks doesn't appreciate the good things in life ;)

That's why I only drink good stout, red wine and scrumpy. None of your sickly greek shite for me. Shove it up your hairy arse.

Firky - Good wheat beer is up there with the best ales, stouts & wines. :)

Don't know about Lidl's but some of their beer is not bad. I may try some next month :)

Meanwhile, I have a half bottle of Old Jenny stashed that I was keeping for a special occasion - Hmmm!

Disgusting stuff. But I'm sure I've read somewhere that it can be distilled into metheglyn (sp?). I can imagine a 40% ABV honey drink being quite useful.
