too many think that they just need to chat random rubbish at double speed to be a "good" mc. they love the sound of their own voice too much.

I've been going out to drum and bass events since 94 because I love baSS.

I have learned to Hate M fucking C's for the most part. Good Music doesnt need them.

Theres always some jumped up twit with some Skibbadee lyrics at free partys intent on ruining the djs flow. Arrogant little attention monkeys.

People obviously don't understand that proper jungle and to a lesser extent dnb is meant to be listened to with MCs. Your not getting the full experience if you listen without... idiots!:p

d&b is all about mcs, imo - i find it pretty dull unless there's some hyped up kid in leisurewear yelling over the top of it.

even an average mc makes it all sound better. though i only really find it the case in clubs - listening to mix tapes with 'em is generally a tedious experience.

I have always hated them until I saw MC Conrad, loved him :D
If it wasn't for LTJ Bukem's mate, I would be able to express no enthusiasm for the profession, but this guy is / was a positive asset.

Ethos cracked me up in a hardcore room over a year ago. I knew all the words from hyper fm years before that.
Generally MCs can be a bit shit but when they're good they tend to be really good. Ooooh, it's a tough call.

Rubbish, the best dnb rig I know absolutely refuse to countenance MCs at their parties and they're all the better for it.

You can appreciate tunes if you take out the words, the same is even more true of dnb/jungle without MCs. Some of us love the music and can't see why it needs to be 'improved' on.

'meant', shmeant - it's about personal preference and I prefer artistry over egoists any day.
