McRib (McDonald’s) 2018

I can't understand why it isn't a standard menu item. Maybe they're worried they wouldn't sell any of the other muck.

Apparently it’s because the UK is too religiously diverse:

Why do you no longer sell the McRib®?
Good question. The reason for this is that the McRib® patty is made from ground pork and, in the U.K., we consider it important to separate pork and beef on the grill. Unfortunately, many of our restaurants do not have enough grill capacity to cook pork and beef products at the same time. The breakfast menu is different because we don't serve beef products, which allows us to have a dedicated grill for all our delicious pork products.

I quite like Guildford, although it’s probably not the most exciting town for youngsters.

it certainly seems to have the country’s most progressive McDonalds so props for that alone as far as I’m concerned.

It shows how befuddled this country is these days, that’s all. Tony Crosland was the Grimsby MP for eighteen years when I wor burra lad.
