McDonalds

[Obnoxiousness]

Went into McDonalds with £5 today. First time I've been in a fast food restaurant for about 12 months.

Asked for a Big Mac and a milk shake. I am the only person at the tills. Paid the money.

Girl gives me the milkshake and tells me that I have to wait for the burger.....






About five minutes later the burger appears and just sits in a box on the angled sliding hot plate slot thingy.




I wait some more......


Then she hands me the burger in a bag and apologies for the wait.

Since the milk shake is ice cream and has been standing on the counter for ages... I ask if I can get another one.

So she picks it up and throws it under the counter, into what I presume is a bin?

She then gives me a fresh one and I walk out of the restaurant feeling a bit shit about it.

all waste is counted


however at the end of the night tehre used to be a lot of chicken nuggets "wasted" when i worked tehre

I was walking back along the footpath that goes quite close to the woods, when I saw a dead crow. It looked like it had been there for days, but I didn't notice it on the way to McDonalds. So perhaps someone or something had carried it there... for what reason I cannot imagine. Anyway, it's quite a hill so I stopped half way up and sat on a bench and ate my food......

Pretty chilly today really. I suppose winter is on its way and it won't be long before I have to switch on the heating.... well, certainly at night. I'll have to get my duck down quilt out of the cupboard....
