You're saying that because the squatters wouldn't be able to afford to rent or buy in Mayfair, that they shouldn't squat there?
To be frank, I really don't give a toss how you were brought up, it's irrelevant to the fact that squatting is a legally-permissible activity, whether you or anyone else happens to believe it is "wrong".I'm sorry but I was brought up to believe that if I do something wrong (ie occupy a building that isn't mine without permission) then it's my fault and nobody else's.
If you don't like that, lobby to get the law changed.
