I've just come back from Paris, where I lived 50m from a mahoosive squat. 'Twas very good and had clearly been there undisturbed for donkeys years.

Nah there's quite a lot, have a couple of activist type mates there, we went to meet them and they left us in a bar as they had to go protect a squat!

I went along - it was full of 'arty' stuff and they had drawn on the walls. There was some very good quality curtains that I'd like to have. And lots of video equipment, projectors, and stuff...

No, they don't. Commonly people live in council houses, terraced suburban boxes, and in over-priced rented flats.

It is quite uncommon these days to a) squat; and b) live in mayfair mansions.
