Mayday issue 2 out now

Just a notice to those who have not come across the destructive and competitive tendencies of those posters such as Butchers Apron and Louis McNonce. Ignore them. They represent nothing and nobody. All they do is spoil threads and make politics unnattractive.

They still are carying on with their rubbish. Old Stoic I haven't seen for 5 years or over, I have no contact with him. I DID go boxing with him about 8 years ago.

Well stop ruining threads then you wouldn't get these challenges to your posting style. AS it is you have decided to ruin threads which are progressive but not in the way you would like - that is the work of spoilers - so it is right to issue warnings about your behaviour. These warnings must have hit a nerve cos it got your feathers ruffled. Of course these warnings would have only made sense IF your behavious was and is out of order. AND IT IS. You can change though...

In happier times, Attica playing Ollie to Old Stoic's Alan...great days..great days.

Cheers - Louis MacNeice

(edit: right click and save of course)

The teenage BNP analyis of the BNP from mayday 2, clearly cobbled together from lazy posts on here (this is the real article - it's not a joke):

Here

The one from Black Flag here

which tells you more about where we are today?

Oh I've been warned now...how exciting. What happens next?

That's not the sound of feathers rustling, rather it's me trying to stifle the sound of the laughter you inadvertently cause.

Keep going Attica I know there's better to come - Louis MacNeice

Tried the right click and save but my computer couldn't link up with yours.

THE BF one was completely dry, using well known material, there was nothing good or inventive about the writing from those 2 (a=b=c basic).

The other wasn't written to do as you say 'which tells you more about where we are today' - you are trying to impose a different agenda onto an article which simply doesn't work - it was written to help create another perspective which I think it did.

Backing off, retreating, cowering. Let the public decide. Vox populi vox dei

NO Surrender! No, I would never retreat or back off. It adds to public knowledge. The 'public' do not as a whole sift through articles and pick only 1, there are a range of people who back different articles. I am happy that the article did what it set out to do and contributed to anti fascist perspectives.:p

That's because he's been living out in Thailand, being a good little Rotarian. :)

Has anybody read the good article on Praxis in issue 2?

Very very few people, I imagine.

I've told you before, Brig, and I'll tell you again. If you want people to read your stuff, plonk it online.

After much prompting, you eventually put issue one online - as a PDF hosted by I-can't-remember-who.

What's to stop you doing the same - or better - with issue two.

Think of the advantages. You can post links on all the internet message boards you use. You can email links to people. It'd be 'spam' but I don't think that would put you off.

Then some people will use the link and read your wise words. Praxis in action!

You would be surprised JHE, I know copies are getting shared around at a tremendous pace. Bristle Butchers for example has got his hands on one somehow, and put at least one article on line....

Our webmistress is working hard, but not on our website unfortunately! THough there was a pilot version, and I heard on sunday that a webmaster will be working on getting it up (oo er) ready for the Oct 18th Bookfair and Mayday issue 3.:D We have enough copy for issue 3, we need to tighten up articles and copy edit this time, and co - write the editorial, but issue 3 will be out you will be very glad to know. There is copy lined up for at least a further 2 or 3 issues as well:D One article on Attica, my namesake and the event in question, is a 3 part 10k word total project, so we are not short of words.:D Unlike the rest of the movement:eek::D

10k words, eh? Excellent! My compliments to the Stakanovite writer, but we must not rest. More words, comrades, more words. Quantity into quality! Praxis in action!
