yesssss... but i've used that to excuse a lot of drinks bought at ldr's plus the £70 i blew in staples yesterday on lovely stationery for the new job, and the fantastic pair of shoes i'm going to find in the sales for my birthday outfit, and the g i'm going to treat myself to at the end of jan, and...

Still a little worried I'm going to get told off for not quite matching criteria, despite not knowing that when Crispy put the order in, but I am the department's unofficial photographer for the website so maybe I'll try and use that as an excuse if questionned! :D
 
Over at Moneysavingexpert.com, they've been all over this all day. Apparently,

Apple know it's an error, as people have confirmed on the phone (silly things. phoning the company to ask them if the error on their website that noone's spotted is true or not :rolleyes:)

Chances of cameras are slim, I think.

£70 on stationery:

£30 on ink for my printer (so maybe that doesn't count)

£8 new fountain pen (all the best teachers write with lovely flowing fountain pen ink)
£2 on cartridges
£3 on pretty file dividers
£1 on a box of rubbers
£1 on 3 rulers
£1 on four pencil sharpeners (last 3 things for lending to kids)
£11 on printer labels so i can put a new name box on all their books which has my name, spelled correctly, printed at the bottom (and not their old teacher's)
£8 on boardmarkers in lovely colours like purple and orange
£8 on OHP pens in same colours
£3 on highlighter pens


oops - might have been more than £70... :eek:

Man, I'm so excited. If only I'd came on urban at 3pm like I usually do...

I'm utterly skint apart from my overdraft, and will need to pay rent soon... utterly utterly stupid for me to try and spend money right now. But I've wanted a digital cam for too damn long and hopefully I'll get one now... I've ordered two which will exceed my overdraft limit, but hopefully the second one will go on ebay and negate the unautorised overdraft charge and perhaps even the price of the 1st camera... greedy I know, but who wouldn't?

although i've got two confirmation emails, i refuse to believe that i'm getting these cameras until i actually see the dispatch email. only when i know that they've left apple, will i be able to rest.

question - on your acknowledgement/confirmation reciept thing, does it have a bit saying discount, £475 or something like that? Cause mine doesn't, it says discount £0, but my sister's does...
 
one of them says discount, the other doesnt. wait, no, that ain't right. yeah actually, the order notification doesnt, but the confirmation does.
