I didn't think many people knew about them...
I saw them play one night at The Alma in Crystal Palace, and had a great time. I'd never heard of them but they played Bendy Head and we had a great mini-mosh pit... I haven't enjoyed many gigs where I'd never heard of the band as much as that one (admittedly a lot of it was spent outside getting caned with the singer from The Ludes, which may have contributed to just how cool The Stabilisers were)
