Massively noisy rave last Saturday night/Sunday am nr Sudbourne Road (nr. Acre Lane)

of course you could just think fuck it, im lucky to live in one of the most culturally vibrant places in the world, its only a party and it is carnival weekend after all

I've lived in Brixton for nearly 30 years and one thing that pisses people off is when it's in a residential area and it happens again and again and again night after night. No one minds the occasional party but some party people take the piss.

It happens a lot at the Moolands estate where I live. You also get people fighting outside during the early hours, it's a disgrace!

Except that a lot of people don't have the option of sleeping late the next day. If you've got kids, for example, you'll be up at 6.30 the next morning whether you've slept or not. It's not fair to ask people to forego a night's sleep if they won't be able to make it up later on.

I heard the police entered that new bar, don't know the name of it but the wall's done out similar to Iroko on Brixton Hill so I'm guessing that they're connected.

Apparently there were loads of cops and the road (Acre Lane) was even temporarily closed

I'm pretty sure people who go to parties regularly will have been exposed to asbestos at some point along the way.

Asbestos is safe as long as it stays where it is. It's when you start drilling/breaking/cutting it that you get dangerous dust/fibres.
