Massive Ikea sale on Saturday

Thats why Im wanting to go but still sat here....
I only need about 3 things and Im wondering if its really worth the pain....

^^^depends how much you will save. I saved £143.85 on my sofa so it was worth it. It really wasn't crazy when I was there especially for off the shelves stuff. Like I posted previously the ques were for the special order stuff which is also the most expensive stuff. My friend was going at half seven to buy kitchen stuff like utensils etc...going with her hubby and baby in a pram and I reckon they will be fine. Only que for them will be for the brekkie and paying.

I drove past Lakeside earlier and it looked fucking horrendous, cars all over the place. Can have only been down to the Ikea sale, it's usually busy there on Saturdays but this was madness!

I think I will go to the bargain basement in about 2 weeks time and see if there are even better bargains to be had form the return of sale items.

IM glad I didnt go... Cardiff had over 1000 people queuing for the 6am opening
The traffic reports are saying its chaos.
DH wanted to go but I told him Id rather pay the 20% when we need the things rather than getting them all today and spending a whole day getting them ( thats if we can get them!)

I just couldn't face it - I live a couple of miles from ikea in wembley and I didn't even go up to lidl today in case it was gridlock. Being stuck in traffic with a baby is not much fun

We walked down past the Bristol one and they had extra police - the M32 and all the surrounding roads were gridlocked, and the police were even stopping people from going in until more cars had come out.

I cycled through the Ikea Edmonton car park on my way back from Tesco an hour or so ago - there were crash barriers and paramedics - I don't think they were taking any chances after the riot they had when it opened.

Didn't go in, but to be fair, it was busy, but not in an awful way, there were some parking spaces.....

Well thanx to you Ikea shoppers I'm without my wife until 2am She's a cash office manager and she'll be there to count up all your hard earned cash.Spend freely though because the higher the profit the more the staff get on their special discount day and I need a new puter table

Yay.. My new sofa has just been delivered but it will be sometime before I sit on it as it's self assemble.
