I have to ask - maple syrup, whats it made of? Maple trees? But they don't taste sweet (not that i've ever eaten a tree or anything)

I don'geddit...

I asked a Canadian and they said it was the sap from maple trees, but condensed and boiled down to make the thick, gorgeous syrup. So there you go.
