It's been reported that the idiot commanding officer who gave the order to open fire is one Mr Wu Sheng , a vice-director of the Shanwei Public Security Bureau.

Guangdong newspapers reported on Sunday that he had been detained by prosecutors for allegedly mishandling the riot.

Hopefully he will be charged over the incident and, if found guilty (very likely in China), punished appropriately.

Well I know there are some people out there who sadly think that China is the beautiful Communist refuge that they play themselves up as being, but sadly this is not true. China is in the hands of a few very wealthy individuals

Yes it is possible to support some parts of the government, but in some countries (cough), if you dont, youll be run over with a tank. If you stand up to that tank however, you and all you relatives will be rounded up, tortured (anal, vaginal and oral rape with cattle prods, hanging from ceiling by fingers and have fires burnt underneath you ect) you will then be shot and your family billed for the bullet.

Yes it is possible to support some policies of the government, but I dont support; infanticide, torture and murder of Tibetans, Falun gong,...oh yes and the fact that I cant vote, use the internet, watch innapropriate movies, protest, get a lawyer (Instead ill be shipped off to "re-education" camps for aslong as they want).

Considering I come from a city where 40% of the people are of asian descent (not including east indians, Bangladeshi, Pakistani,middle eastern), I have heard my fair share of horror stories. Why do you honestly beleive that so many are caught sneaking in to our countries in container ships? Risking their own lives and those of their family? Because they're filthy money hungry capitalist pigs?
