Manchester City FC 2008-09

Citys new owner on ssn now saying the berbatov deal is just the beginning for city, the 'tip of the iceberg' as they say. Saying they don't just want top 4 they want to be number 1.

Um not sure if that's their new owner actually. Someone who knows what they're thinking atleast.

Ycmniu!

Hilarious, as usual from the clowns at Wastelands :D
And Thaksin pockets 120 million

I know it has its dark side but I'm just loving the United fans reactions.
Which ones? All the reds I know think it's fucking brilliant! :D

Crazy day.

Just wanted to let you london based guys know that there is a sizable group of us City Fans meet up in the Half Moon in Herne Hill for the televised matches.

All are free to come down and newcomers are most welcome. Just look for blue shirts etc and come over.

Oh is that where everyone is nowadays now that The Commercial and The Florence (nee Ganleys) are without tellys.

Every empire comes to an end

So you think a sugar daddy pumping money in with no return is a better long term bet than a club that has a business model that turns a massive profit on it's own terms (even if it does pay off it's parent companies debt)? Even if the glazers go down the pan Manchester United is still a profitable entity and as such will have no problem attracting a buyer.

tbh I'm i shock and don't know what to think, but being City it's sure to come with a twist or two.

I'm more worried about the whole direction football is going in and if people like this buy clubs as toys then it won't matter how good a business model anyone has.

It's all been good fun today but let's see when the dust settles, what it all exactly means for City and football overall.

Yeah, we keep on getting moved so we are now at the Moon. They upscaled their footy coverage. They can now show two matches at the same time and have just got Setanta installed.

Happy days!

tell you what though from the pictures i've seen today of Citeh fans they aren't the most photogenic or articulate.

Cool...I used to go to the Commercial and then Ganleys but been working more and more Sundays over the past couple of years but will definitely make it as HH is halfway between home and work.

The gene pool in east manchester is deeper than that of Larne's.

Yeah it's a straight drop.

A citeh fans family tree,

ffs the one at the back..

and before you say huh, it's autumn in the picture

it never gets round to spring at the eastlands, sometimes they think they are about to see the flowers bloom but it always turns out to be premature.

Not in Sisterfuck, Co Antrim you haven't.

Jesus, you know more about football than inbreeding in the City of Manchester.

Half the ones in the east of Manchester got fucked out of Ireland for incest, they claimed it was to get oppurtunities but it was for fiddling their siblings. Fact.

Explain this then:

or

a family that was so inbred they ran out of first names for a while

what's wrong with Paul Scholes, he's a genuis, youse can only wish he'd been born to his sister in the east.

Singing about Munich in the background was a classy touch.

So if Berbatov doesn't sign for City won't the excited City fans feel a bit silly?
