Man Utd vs Barcelona (Barca Bricking it?)

Good to see referees sussing out that Ronaldo is a cheating diving cunt. The referees have finally caught up with the rest of us.

Unpleasant stats but they didn't concede away from home. Job's a good un.

Didn't see too much of Barca "bricking it" though . . . .

With Chavski to play on saturday...what are the chances of a fully fit team coming out next tuesday? Messi was awesome. Barcelona have true class.

Will be interesting to say the least.

That was utter shite.

I hope United fans are bricking it because they looked absolutely shite against a side who haven't strung any results together in months. Pathetic....

United, god's gift to footie etc....

So did you make it over there revol or did the services rumble you?

The point is that I just don't know what to think of a plastic who finally goes over to watch his team and then spends half his time in a cafe berating all and sundry.

what a shite game

you could see ronaldo's fear in his eyes before he took that penalty. If he'd of taken it 20 mins he'd of scored, but he bottled it!
I bet he learnt summat from that!

Must say you Man U fans are doing a fine job in polishing shite.

I salute you....:hmm:

;)

years of practice.

If one of their players has a good game against Derby - they become one of the best players in the World....

The lot of them have shitty noses. ;)

Well, all depends if United actually feel like going into the opposition half or Ferguson wants to go to penalties?

Who do you think is happier after this result? Rijkaard or Fergie?

Anyway - what you saw as fear in Ronnie's eyes I read as sheer confidence (bordering on sheer arrogance). Someone who was afraid wouldn't have attempted such a cute penalty.

Best United side EVAH?!!? Don't make me chortle...

Desperately ordinary, as defensively minded and ambitious as Derby County. Yes, I know it was at the Nou Camp, but for a team supposedly famed for their attractive football it was piss poor. For nearly all of the second half United failed to string more than 3 or 4 consecutive passes together. Emperor's new clothes stuff again - Ronaldo lived up to his flat track bully reputation once again, spending more time gesticulating and pulling silly faces than doing anything productive with the ball. A half fit Messi looked a different class.

Fingers crossed for a more interesting second game.

Grinding it out in Europe in preparation for the home leg is what its all about. Job done. Something the likes of Arsenal are yet to learn apparently.

... and yet they could still win the competition...

I know, but after all the mouth from the gobshite plastics about how the scousers 'fluked it' through with boring football, United go and play like a Championship side defending against greatly superior competition.

No bollocks.

Not convinced he will be to be honest. Reasonably satisfied maybe, but the away goal rule provides a bit of an advantage to an attacking team like Barca.

Are u seriously suggesting Barca have an advantage? They couldnt score at home. I dont like their chances at Old Trafford.

Well I'm guessing that Utd may have to show a bit more ambition as well. The 10 men behind the ball approach, with Rooney as a virtual full back, didn't exactly lead to a ream of chances for Utd either.

Twas not the best result, though not bad at all....hopefully they will not rue the penalty miss though think at Old trafford we will score a couple...thought our midfield was woeful though suspect we will see a different performance come next week....given the starting defence i would have taken a nil nil at the start....loving the Liverpool and arsenal fans comments...reckon they would have loved that result in the first leg of the semi....

One swallow does not make a summer;)

Just got back from Barcelona.....cagey game for sure but given our defensive issues thought we did pretty well. Messi was the best player by a country mile.

Still, nice to see Revol shouting loudly from his armchair again.
