Man Utd squad strength

Lets wait and see shall we children, is all whether he settles, Veron was arguably th best player in the world before he came, for whatever reason he didn't settle etc etc a flop, one of those things. Anyone who knows a bit about football can go and watch Andersens performances and see that he is special....whether he fits in is another thing, we shall see though he who laughs last and all that......:)

it's funny how there is fuck all posted on this forum about Man Utd for 95% of the time until they get beat.

Still it's good to see the jealousy back, when it's not there it means we aren't the best team in the league.

I think you're logic's a little defective there me little plastic.

I mean, loads of us have been known to slag off James Blunt from time to time. And it doesn't secretly mean that he's the biggest pop star in the world.

Keep taking the little delusional gloryboy pills though. Most amusing.

yes but if he wasn't all over the bloody charts you'd not be ranting about him.

That's my point you numpty, you tend to comment after incidents, games or chart placings, not just on the off chance.

And guess what happened in Manchester last night? Imagine the surprise of people posting on a bulletin board about something topical like that. Or not.

I can explain it in simpler words if you like...

:p

Good that you equate Blunt and Man Utd though. Quite a good connection that - I'll bear it in mind for future.

yeah but Man Utd won the league last year and it was decidely quiet in these forums, whilst if it had been some band of losers like Arsenal or Liverpool you'd never hear the end of it.

But hey this year is definately your year.

If chelsea, arsenal or liverpool had lost people would be laughing at them . I love the arrogance of Man Utd fans , they think people are laughing at them because they are jealous when in reality it's funny to see arrogant wankers beaten :D

The depressing thing is that we're not even teasing real Mancs or genuine fans, more the equaivalent of those little boys that chose Utd in the playground at school - you know, the glory hunting ones who never grew up to have the integrity to support their local team. This arrogant 'don't care if we don't win the carling cup, because we're bigger than that' viewpoint is typical of the fairweather fans who have no real attachment to the club

If Utd lose too often you can almost guarantee that it wouldn't affect them that deeply. They'd just shrink away from watching the games on the telly and flick over to another sport in fairweather fashion. Hell, there's always another team they could support.

;)

I like james Blunt and Man U.
please dont say that means i lose cool points at urban?

so you're writing off the rest of the premiership then?
I should imagine the other managers would have something to say about that

Who else has the slightest chance of even threatening to win the league?

You can count off the rest of the Premiership for at least 5 years without even vaguely sticking your neck out.

I wouldnt right off arsenal, chelsea or liverpool for starters.

I was born a few miles from old trafford and have always been a supporter but they dont look very convincing at the moment.
Fergies a good coach basically so as longs as he's in charge I cant see them slipping too far away from the top 3 but i remember watching Man u/bristol city in the second division so you can never take anything for granted.

Am i right in thinking that this thread was posted by a fan of a club who rested their best player in the biggest, richest league in the world (only to draw 0-0), then play that same player in probably the shittest cup competition three days later?

at least our manager knows in what competitions to show his squad's lack of depth.... :D

really hope u guys win the carlin cup final (no doubt getting gerrard crocked in the process)..

meanwhile...

taranau, I know you tend to say the same thing over and over in endlessly repeated posts but I didn't realise you were quite so fucking boring.

And you should be happy anyway! Your team are top of their league. :D

no he's not, he spouts the shame sh*t over and over...noticeably in much larger quanitites now the arse are top of league.... last few years his postings on the subject have been far reduced...just an observation like:confused:

It's amazing that Utd fans have such short memories - I"m not an Arsenal fan, as I've said repeatedly. And similarly the truth doesn't change - it may be unpalatable to some, but it's nonsense to suggest that Utd haven't hefty plastic support.

Still if it's a choice of a London team vs the Mancs, I'll choose the Londoners every time. With the possible exception of Tottenham. And if it's a choice between Arsenal's cavalier attacking football, style and philosophy, or some big spending but goalshy gimps overseen by a superannuated sideburned Yank, then I'm afraid it's the good footballing team everytime.

Im was talking about the MK Dons. :D.

Yes you are right - you said it repeatedly

So you change who you support weekly? and you moan about Utd fans being plastic???

and you didn't support Utd last year....nor will you when they hit form:confused:

you got issues, blinded by hatred for Utd:D

Nope. I'm an old Wimbledon fan - played in the same school team as two Dons to be - so I've little loyalty to any particular Prem team as a result of the franchise shenanigans. I've been to watch AFC a good few times, but you don't tend to support a second team as strongly.

Still, I guess I could wind the clock back down and support the high status team that was big when I was a schoolkid I guess, someone like Liverpool ir Utd, despite having no local ties or loyalty. I could then spend a disproportionate amount of time acting like a steretyped wanker on bulletin board, wholeheartedly joining in with unpleasant 'banter' as if I'm the world's greatest fan, despite never really being arsed to mix with real supporters and watch a live game. But then that would be a little foolish, wouldn't it?

;)

i love how otherwise modern cosmopolitan folk turn into parochial fuckwits when it comes to football.

And if I hear tarranau's tales of playing football with some lads who went onto play for Wimbledon one more time....

What he also misses out on is the fact i spent my childhood following Larne FC and like everyother irish football fan support an English team too.

Infact it seems to me that Tarranau doesn't actually have anything to say about football beyond whinging about 'plastics' and the fact he doesn't actually follow a team gives him free reign to whinge without putting himself in the line of fire.

Try and find a footy post of tranny's that isn't about United.

In fact, try and find one about "old Wimbledon".

Nope?

:D
