I don't want to go all Brexit/Daily Mail on you all but IIRC it may be something to do with EU directives on not using animal-derived products (which is a good thing).
I don't think Estee Lauder Pleasures (not the most original choice but a lovely smell) is the same as it used to be when it came out in the mid-90s, and there are a few others about which I'd say the same (trying hard to remember which ones I mean and failing for now).

I've always thought Urban had a wide range of weirdos but man smells,really.I'm a Halifax Nova Scotia type meself (it's against the law to use perfume in a public space).

All my favourite scents are unisex - 4711 is my go to everyday scent, it's remarkably inexpensive and smells so clean and lovely.
I had a boyfriend who used to wear Davidoff cool water and I used to love it. I had a sniff of it in superdrug before Christmas and it didn't smell anything like I remembered.![]()
