Man Boots

cowboy boots wouldn't go with that. Really - you'd look like one of those guys that have highlights and Ozwald Boateng shirts if you wore that outfit with cowboy boots.

<sigh> I suppose.. what shoes would go? Should I stick to the trainers and baggy jeans thing?

As an aside, a hot tip on the trainer front is 'Lakai' - they're the new etnies. You heard it here first.

cowboy boots would look ridiculous on you.

Yep. I agree with what PieEye said too.

And don't get Timberlands either, cos you're young and boy band looking so you'll look like you were part of a group called Harmony4Eva who auditioned at X-factor and wore baggy jeans and leather jackets :(

Poor Chris, he's worked with computers too long. He's beginning to crave those boots, as if to say 'I'm not in IT, I'm a flaming cowboy rebel'

Mark my words: it's a slippery slope. Next week it'll be the bootlace tie below. And then it's just a minor step away from the beltclip mobile phone holder and the novelty Simpsons socks....

;)

just get less baggy jeans - you could even have turn ups and then some boots - not Doc Martens - that's a step back.

you make them look so camp :( and dub has some.. I don't really want to be in your gang, I want to start my new gang.

you don't have to get engineer boots - there are loads out there.

I like baggy jeans though.. I could settle for a sort of extreme boot-cut, low-waist set up though, I suppose.

Not Doc Martens, practical but I don't like the way they look. They're not big enough.

I like the size of engineer boots, but prefer a nice thick vintage leather.

I so semi started that last year...

(another excuse, like milesy, to post of pic of my lovely boots)

I love those boots, I was admiring them the other day when you posted a pic

I have some with a heel that are a bit similar - not quite so chunky.

I want new boots, but the boring saga of fat feet continues

baggies and boots don't work very well. Can be straight or boot cut but a pair of skater jeans and some chunky great boots looks funny. Unless you're doing the timberland thing with tongues and laces and stuff - and frankly, they look like they're going to trip themselves up.

the ones jodal has posted are ok chris - no pointyness anywhere. Those chelsea boots ming - the only okay chelsea boots have steel toecaps.

That's the problem see, if you're gonna wear baggy jeans you can't really wear boots. The timberland thing will make him super boyband. Unless he wants that....I always wear my boots with my skirts but that's not gonna help Chris is it?

How about these?
