Malta blogger killed in car bomb attack

She exposed the prime minister's connections to the corrupt networks revealed in the Panama papers.

I am reminded of something someone I know who has, let's say, 'an insight into how things work in Malta' told me: he said that he believed that Malta would never be allowed into the EU because it was so corrupt. Sure enough, a few years later, guess which Mediterranean island was admitted to the Euro Union. . .

A gross and vulgar display of power from someone who clearly has too much of it, along with wealth.

Sickening, both in terms of the attack and that someone was left to expose the monumental corruption by themselves.

    Despicable murder...

She seems to have been an exceptionally strong journalist...exposing corruption on a large scale.
    Awful death... :(
Watching interviews with Maltese citizens today was man said "if you keep stepping on someone's feet you're going to get hit...maybe she deserved it"... Horrendous attitude.
Another woman said " this is not what you expect in a democratic is not what you want in a democracy ".

    Rest in peace.
