Male music lovers - do you dance?

You're so cute Brainaddict (:) :D)

I've seen you dance :) For a few minutes or so. Plus you even smiled a bit. And yes you're right, I think it's happened twice in the whole time I've known you.

No I don't really dance, I feel like a total prick when I do and I don't really enjoy it, I prefer just standing there and kind of nodding my head. The only times i've ever really danced is when i've been pilling off my head or really pissed.

:mad::mad:

I suspect I've missed out on shagging action over the years due to this line of reasoning  Girl flirts with me, asks me to dance (considering this to be a natural next step in the flirting I think),

Oh the trials and tribulations of being a non-dancer! :(

The subconcious makes the connection good dancer = good in bed

don't dance................................

I repeat, subconcious

I love to dance. One of the greatest freedoms there is, specially if the DJ is any good. ;)

But I have known a few men who love music but do not dance! What is this all about? Does it not infect you? Are you able to prevent yourself from moving? Can you not hear the end of the phrase?

Why do you assume that loving music must mean you want to dance then ? You clearly think that love music = love dancing but thats just your opinion , people take pleasure from things in many different ways !

Dancing, like nudity and emotions, is only permitted indoors, alone, with lights out and all mirrors covered. General health and safety advice which I have adhered to since I turned 21.

So I see. :D
It seems the majority of people do like to dance, so that's cool, and I have learnt that a) I phrased my OP poorly, or b) it reflected my actual understanding (you choose!!! :D ) so I've grown up a bit and c) the one person who doesn't dance on the thread is my mate, and that's always gonna be cool. :D

Meanwhile, I'll be on the dancefloor.

I was doin' a bit of hand jive to some slightly cheesy Belgian / Ibiza-style lounge music just now. Got me disco lights on too :)

Shame you all couldn't see it. :D

Yep the biggest music lovers I know have no impulse to sake their thang and then there are those that love to dance no matter what the music is but aren't much cop at it but don't give two hoots about it and just love to throw shapes all over the shop

Different strokes for different folks in my book :)

Unless there's a band on, no way. People sometimes drag me up to dance and I'll try, then they start laughing or looking at me funny, or ask why I'm acting 'like that', then pretty soon there's a big space around me. :(

I love to dance, I listen to a load of dance music at home without moving around - but my basic attraction to it comes from social dancing with others, drugs or not. I'm awful at talking in clubs, so that's all I want to do there really. I don't care how shit other dancers are, but for most people all it takes to dance well is to get into the music.

Oh also, loads of music has a physical element to it, but you can't really respond to it by dancing without looking like some hippy.
