Male music lovers - do you dance?

I love dancing, even though I am shit at it. Who cares? When the music's right, it's total catharsis. And these days that's true even when sober

I like dancing.
It's more jumping around with my mates though to be honest.
Never actually danced with someone, I can imagine I'd crumble in that situation.

I love to, you can't stop me!

But not with my mrs.... I find it strange... Don't know why...
Quite happy to with my girl-friends (as in, friends that are girls). Just not the mrs, unless it's a bit of Northern Soul, then I will til the sun comes up....

YouTube users...always so considered and articulate.

Not that I'm a homofob or anything but this is without a doubt THE gayiest thing that I've ever seen!

i dance alot, even when im around just my male mates i proper go for it. i have to admit alot of girls compliment my dancing aswell, i love it

I am a definite non-dancer. Which isn't to say I never dance. Every now and then I do. For a couple of minutes. Then I get bored.

I have great trouble explaining to people that the problem is not: (a) that I'm too embarassed (b) that I'm not on the right drugs or (c) that I haven't listened to the right music.

I just don't enjoy it much. Even if I get into a particular song, I get bored of it very quickly. It's an interesting test of people's ability to understand that some people really are different from them :p

:D

One of the best things about you is not the stuff you do/don't do, it's your reasons for not doing them...

I like to dance, but I hate dancing in clubs. If it's a gig or a house party or my front room with the curtains shut however...

Much the same for me. I've got great rhythm when playing music - but can't coordinate my limbs for toffee (well top half or bottom half but not together) - people approach me and ask if I'm having a fit. Don't mind making an arse of myself behind closed doors and occasionally in public if hammered enough to not care but usually only to please Mrs SFM who's a superb dancer!

ooooooooooh!!! :D Was that a little dig Brainaddict?
No no, but a lot of people have tried to force me to dance over the years.

It can get quite weird when people are a bit pissed/fucked. You get conversations that are reminiscent of that mad woman in Father Ted forcing tea on people - really not willing to take no for an answer. 'Fun fascists' I like to call them :D - you'll have *my* kind of fun goddamn it, whether you like it or not  :p

When I first met you I really tried to get you to dance.

Now I realise that you're just "different" to me :)

Or if you're lucky, both!

Melinda: we so need to have that video night :D I watched House Party again recently for the first time in ages, it's so awesome. "Ooooooh, scandalous!" :D
Im SOOO there! :D *Dons all in one yellow jump suit and imagines she has an 8inch fade*

Just where did you see House Party?! On TV or DVD? Ive not seen it since our family first bought a video player (it was top loading!) I literally convulsed watching it!
