Malaysia: No ties with Israel unless.....

are you going to Perhentians?

Not sure I'll have time to get to the east coast but I will if I can.
I'm told the beaches are very nice.
I'm not gay so the gay clubs won't hold much interest for me but I will try a beer or two as I won't be driving much.
I will pop into singapore but I'm less interested in the place unless you can tell me better.
South thailand is great. Best places are well away from the tourist traps.

6 days to go.

They are gorgeous but if you don't like sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, diving you might get a bit bored, so take a good book ;)

Yes. Make it a dictionary. Look up 'racist' and make sure you understand it before you use it on anybody else.
Enjoy your swim.

Watch out for sea wasps.

Singapore tends to be a bit soul-less. Clean, organised, and you *will* have fun. My bf is Malay so we tend to go to the more out of the way places... Much more fun...!

I should worry if you're out of touch ?

How about posting your Tesco shopping list ? It would have as much relevance to the topic that I started as what this lying loon is going to do on his hols. :D
He called me a racist, incidentally. That's a lie.

I have heard this about singapore before that why I'm less bothered about going.
I have yet to find a place in Malaysia I don't like. I will try hard but I don't think I'll manage if last year is anything to go by.
I have been very lucky in that I have met loads of people from malaysia here in england and will be meeting many of those that have returned. I will also be meeting friends I got to know last year and stayed in touch with.
Off on tuesday arrive wednesday in KL.

racialism (`re€‰•l€zm)or racism n.
1. the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others.
2. abusive or aggressive behaviour towards members of another race on the basis of such a belief.

That about sums up all your anti Israeli threads.

'Israeli' isn't a race , Fred. My objections to Israeli atrocity are political, not racial. I've explained this repeatedly. You refuse to understand. You call me racist. I call you a slanderous thicko.

We all call you an abusive troll, and click the "Report Bad Post" button and then the "Ignore Button", as appropiate. :D

Well, I hope that you get a shock through that button for a false call. You'd be in a sling by now, no doubt. You've added eff-all to any thread I've read except your own spurious support for other poster's profanity. You're the troll, pal, so troll-off and report that.

The topic, I repeat, is Malaysia's attitude to Israel, not the lying loon's holidays.

Its worth going to Singapore for a look... But there's no real point in going there more than once...

The Zoo and Night Safari are supposed to be 1st class

The Bird Park is also very  . Formation flying by birds...

Went on the Night Safari with a friend of mine, and they simulated the forest at night. Very dark, very quiet, very peaceful, so quite you can hear all the night creatures.,,

And then my mate's mobile rings. "Hello Mum... Sorry, I'm at the zoo... Can I call you back...?"... :D

Singapore nice... But so sterile...

Kecil - happy days! Hoping to get back there again eventually...

Was at Mama's on Besar.

Kecil looked a bit too young and crowded for me :o

There's loads and loads more accommodation now :(

When were you there? I was there for a long while in '97 and again for a quick visit in '00 - maybe I shouldn't go back if it's changed that much, I wouldn't want to look in the mirror and discover I'd become one of those wrinkly old geezers who go around complaining about how much better things used to be!

2000 as well I think (or it could have been 2001) - not sure, been to Malaysia 3 times but only to Perhentians once.

Think you'd be shocked at how many new hotels/beach huts etc. there are. I only know this as I regularly look the place up :(

There was a beautiful secluded beach on Besar which I'd imagine won't be long before there's hotels there :(

I may pop in for the passport stamp :)

Thinking of buying a small bike out there so I can travel about easier.
125 cc should do. I'm told I can pick up a used bike for a couple of hundred quid and I'll just flog it for whatever when I leave.

Picked up a tourist map last year and all the places I fancy are well off the beaten track so it may be a good idea.

Yossarian - I'm going to get some time in before I am one of those wrinkly old geezers. I would hate to get like that before I have a load more fun. :D

<pops off to pack rucksack>

Well here I am in malaysia looking for an aniti israeli riot or waiting for a backlash against the iraq war but all I can find so far are nice people with a warm welcome for me.

Just met a real cute bangladeshi hindu girl. Wonder what my chances are :D

Perhaps I'm right this time and malaysia is the wonderful county I think it is.

Taken a couple of days to get into the weather but things are fine now but got soaked last night in the rain.
Still seeing that nice bangladeshi girl.

Even better than I remember. May I suggest malaysia for your hols everyone :D

Which is the hottest and steamiest, KL just after a downpour, or that Bangladeshi lass? ;)

Now that would be telling ;)

Get well pissed last night so I'm up well late today - time for a curry me thinks.

Meeting a lass I met last week tonight so it's time for some red bull energy drink if last sunday is anything to go by :D

Place is fandabbydosy - suggest to anyone that they come here.

Have you checked out the slightly dodgy software being sold. There's a 4/5 storey shopping center down from Bukit Bintag (near Lot 10 I think). Go to the top and you can get Windows Xp for 10 RM...
