Stop stalking me please. Not interested in your vicious little games.
more vacuous than vicious except when he's his cancer-wishing hat on.
Are you drinking right now?
how tempting a dram is after reading your pitiful shite.
So it would make a significant, positive impact if an ebola outbreak occurred in a largely secular, atheist society, because bodily contact is less prevalent? Struggling to follow this. Your link discusses communion in catholic mass and shaking hands, but isn't it a bit of a leap to identify that as a major source of transmission?
ETA: Don't worry, I really don't need to chase this up
Look, when I make a statement, and you reply "Lego answer. Lego question. Irrelevant.", then that tells me precisely the square root of fuck-all about where my statement went wrong in your view. It doesn't challenge any of my assumptions, it just annoys the fuck out of me because someone who I'm inclined to think of as smart and knowledgeable is acting like a fucking arse to someone whose only crime is to be (gasp!) not as well-read as you obviously are. And that's a wasted opportunity to share valuable knowledge and maybe contribute a tiny part to the sum total of human understanding.
I'm not demanding that you be my personal tutor, I'm asking for more clarity and context so that I can at least have something to hang my arguments on. When you're posting in an inscrutably taciturn mode, do you really think that it helps to convince anyone who doesn't already agree with you? Serious question, in case you were wondering.
Then how do you explain Nigeria?
Could not give a fuck. Serious answer.
In that case, one last question; what did you hope to achieve by engaging with me in a dialogue?
Fuck all, Job done.
Maybe someone else will take on board the points about religious thought hiding in common sense, in science, in fact. Maybe someone else won't need religious thought to formally declare itself as religious. Maybe someone else will make the easy comparison between religious credos and liturgies and economic totems. Maybe someone else will. Maybe.
I'm going to watch england beat scotland 4-1 now. Maybe.
You're talking absolute shit and refusing to explain yourself. Do you have a better explanation for your twattery? I've asked you twice what 'spook shit' is. I'm still waiting for an explanation, or are you too busy belittling the noxion?
I don't know what you mean.
Then why read it?
everyone else does.
more to the point, why write it?
This is what I mean.
quite. why write such pointless drivel?
Not Lego. Crayons.
Nigeria being free, assuming it still is from the 20/10, is a good thing. But im not sure what conclusion to draw.
None of what you have said makes any sense. You don't like what I write, yet you follow my every world like a lost sheep. Don't you have someone you can stalk instead?
You follow my every world like a lost sheep
Since Nigeria is a highly devout country (at least compared to the UK), it kind of blows a massive hole in the notion that religiosity is a significant factor in spreading the disease.
I suppose Lego is too complicated for you, if that's the height of your wit.
Nine years, so few posts. So quiet, taciturn! Why so gobby now?
how many worlds have you got?
A fair question. I don't remember registering for this forum, unfortunately. At the moment I can barely remember anything that I was doing in 2005. More recently, a friend mentioned this place and that's when I rediscovered it. I lurked for a month or so before I started posting; not sure at what point I discovered I already had an account. Since then I've been reading and occasionally posting if something interests me.
To the simple minded (me) economics has always seemed most closely affiliated with religion - a creed based largely on faith, delivered by bankers and financiers (our priests and shamans), promising salvation (riches) and inspiring unswerving devotion (greed)....
