... It was about 6ft in diameter, it was "domed" with the dome about 2 maybe 3ft in height. Below the body 6 or may 8 "legs" or tentacles hung down. It was dark brown turning to black at the top of it's dome. It was in all respects a "giant sort of jelly fish". The most weird thing was the way in which it made progress though the air. It did not "fly" it "propelled" itself in exactly the same way as that of a jelly fish in sea water.
I observed this "creature" as it rose up into the air, it continued rising at angle of about 30 degrees towards the West (not quite with the wind) until at about 3000 ft it was no longer visible. Well I can describe what I saw but what it was, I do not know. To this creature, our atmosphere was as dense as sea water is to a jelly fish. (Or it's own mass was virtually as light almost as air) It was without doubt alien to our environment...
