Hello, welcome to the internet. People sometimes say things that aren't actually what they really think or intend, for ironic or comic effect.

E2A: in case this ^^^ is still not enough for you to divine my actual position from it: as previously noted, this thread was originally a response not to the case but to the media frenzy and the element of collective public idiocy it prompted. Given that two decades on, it's still discussing a crime that doesn't look any closer to being solved, I think a sarcastic 'Yay' is in order if nothing else.

After all these years, and all the investigations and searches, it seems more likely than not that we will never know what happened. Just a mystery for distant observers like me, I have no idea what it must be like for her family.

Very difficult to solve after all this time. At this point it would need a "lucky break" like builders discovering the body while digging or something like that.
