Did you pick up on all the little JFK assasination nods & winks throughout S3 leading up to the assasination episode?
Joan's smashing the vase on the back of her husband's head.
The Ad pitch with 4 of them pretending to sit in convertible.
Pete sitting in his office, by the window with the rifle.
The car Betty inherits from her dad & then starts driving instead of her normal car, is a black Lincoln Continental - same as the car JFK was in.

Fuck yeh! I just watched the last episode, that was amazing.

Have got up to e11 of s1. I'm really enjoying it. But compared to other recent US series (Sopranos, The Wire), it's like a well-produced soap, the Dallas of our decade

S2 limped a bit then picked up towards the end. Don wandering off for 3 weeks was a bit odd I thought

Just watched the first three seasons over Xmas. Obviously pretty god or else I wouldn't have been drawn into such a marathon. Particularly agree with Epico about the Pete Campbell character. I started off absolutely hating him and I know i think he just needs a bit of a slap and he'd be alright.
Some unexpectedly hilarious moments such as the lawnmower and moving the dead secretary so the clients wouldn't see. On the whole I wish there'd ben more office scenes in it and still not convinced by Olsen, the Ugly-Betty-without-a-sense-of-humour character.

I've been catching up wth this too after being recommended it by friends for ages. I'm up to s3 e5.

I'm not always up on the US history/cultural references and find there's a lot in there, loads of storylines running. A lot of the characters are great but quite detestable at the same time.

Only just started watching Mad Men, and am enjoying it, but am bothered more than I should be by how much like Kamen/Clapton's Edge Of Darkness theme the RJD2 song is

It took me till the end of season 1 to actually start liking it, and then I was hooked. Just a couple more seasons to go for me! It is as good as Breaking Bad.
