You can blame the US for not providing security in Iraq, They ran/run the country, they have the army, it's their job. They didn't and criminals/gangs took over. The US doesn't care as long as the oil is flowing, and they won't leave Iraq until they get the last drop.

NO not at all bob ...i`m well aware that there are people there for reasons of " humanitarian assistance" however there are a very lare number of ex-service personel who are there making a fucking packet...And of course you will be the first to admit that all and ever one of them is operating outside the confidines of what is acceptable in terms of what normalisees international law and the legal obligations....
As for the individuals concerened...i have not the slightist bit of sympathy for either them or the desendents they leave behind...Indeed i hope there deaths serve as a reminder to former colluegues not to engage in the same activity......

But surely your reasoning for not posting on the 'middle east' could quite easily be applied to most issues that are debated on the political boards. We can't forget that many of the problems in the 'middle east' have been either caused or at least made worse by the 'west', so we shouldn't isolate ourselves from our responsibilities as citizens of one of the worst offenders in the region.
