For your information. The UCU has been forced to modify its policy in the face of a significant number of objections from members, others and on legal advice. It would appear that a small cabal of swappies and similar arseholes with a 'hate Israel' agenda were pushing this policy which had zero support on the ground and they have been rightfully routed.
I have no objection to groups working to represent Pals overseas what I do have a problem with is these groups eiither overtly or covertly legitimising Hamas and other terrorist groups. How about the various pal support groups making a public statement dissasociating themselves with Islamist terror in the region. I'm quite happy to disassociate myseof with the excesses of the IDF so why cannot they do the same? The Middle East is swimming in oil money why wasn't that money used to improve the life of displaced Palestinians? Or was it better that these Pals were left in abjectg poverty inorder to shroud wave at the Israelis.
I'm quite willing and able to support groups that enable Pals and Israeli's to live and work together. I cannot with all conscience support groups that want to see either the Israelis driven into the sea or support a one state solution whose only end result will be genocide and a Judenrein middle east.

No UCU along with other 'left' groups keep Israel in a unique category of most evil when there are plenty of worse regimes some of which actually border Israel. Which of those other states occupies 10s of 1,000s of sq km of land taken in war in defiance of countless UN resolutions?
