MacHeads The Movie

And what sort of corporate network do you run then? A highly trustworthy built on a server made of paper clips and a couple of consumer level laptops that you want to moan about adding a hard drive to. Power user you.

You must know that the XServes do very well in cost comparison terms with other branded servers of course, cross-platforming network expert that you are.

Hell, I'm just the technical blagger servicing a small mixed network of 25ish macs and pcs as a part time role. I seem to be able to manage ok, with the occasional technical call out once in a blue moon. Anyone would think you don't know what you;re talking about.
you don't get it we use macs were sub human of the tech world and viewed with suspision like witches... it's our archainery and the use of BSD/Unix which does it... that and not being in the sandbox makes them have hissy fits... :D

Well I started off mainly on pc and SQL tools, so I'm a bit inbetween really.

The thing that gets me is how much uninformed bullshit you have to put up with from some tossers whose only real qualifications are MSCE courses. Which basically seem courses that more easily enable you to find the checkbox option you need hidden in multiple arcane submenus of badly designed admin tools. It's like plodding indoctrination.

Compared to Exchange and our old, homebuilt and chugging, server, the X Serve is a pleaure to work with. OSX Server's a doddle to use too, even for a unqualified blagger like me.

have you tried the latest exchange yet?

run run away...

so you set up the entire thing via the silly wizzywig and then a screen pops up tellign you abotu additonal configureation opitons which all need to be pluged in via the handy 180 charchter command prompt instructions in order to do it all again but plug it in to ISA or anything else... very user friendly...

ROTFLMAO...this is the best description of MCSE I have ever heard.
From Tarannau...

:p ;) :D

As noted by the Ed on the other thread, it's coming soon!!

It's a long-established truism in technology journalism that stories about Apple are pretty much guaranteed to do better than just about any other subject.

And why? It's certainly not because of the total size of the user base of Apple products. Rather, as has been very well chronicled in newspapers, magazines, online, and in books, the passion felt by the community of Apple users far outstrips its size.

Now, with the release of MacHeads, you can add movies to the roster of media documenting the full fervor of the Mac faithful and their particular brand of do-it-yourself brand evangelism.

MacHeads, a 54-minute film by the Israeli director and producer team of Kobi and Ron Shely, has its world-premiere Wednesday with a screening at Macworld, a suitable place for a film about 25 years (or more) of Mac fanaticism, especially because much of it was filmed at Macworld 2007.
