MacBook Pro questions

I get between 3 and 4 hours battery on mine, thats with Bluetooth and wireless surfing, plus a 7200rpm drive which needs more juice.
I expect it to shorten over time though.

As for mouse, I use a gaming mouse - Diamondback Razer, for the accuracy.

In blue, with all the pretty LEDs.

I was looking at one of them (for gaming also on the bootcamp side) - can you program all the buttons on OS X?

What the mouse? Yeah, I'd have thought through bootcamp its the same process as any other Windows machine.
Best mouse I have ever used, bar none.

I've decided to wait. All the noise on mac sites and forums indicate a major MacBook Pro redesign/launch with the new design following that of the current iMac and much better spec will here in the 3rd quarter of 2008. The current titanium version has been around for years and I dont wanna shell out £1750 on something that is gonna be both out of date in 2 months.

Cheers, my mighty mouse is doing my head in (especially it's crappy right click). Will check one of these out.

Are Apple going to upgrade their macbooks to the 13" 1440x900 screen, like the IBM uses?

Unlikely. A high-res screen is something they want you to move to the Pro for. Which is a pity - I find 1280x800 widescreen useless. I'd rather have a square screen at that resolution as it's not really enough for two pages side-by-side. You need 1440x900 for that.
