M&S Bastards

It's good stuff though. I used to work for a company that made ready meals and the only meals that the management insisted on checking were done correctly were the M&S meals because their people were around every day checking the quality of the meals. None of the other companies, which were very popular and expensive, some thank fuck it's the end of the working week were restaurants and they never checked the quality.

M&S lemon cheesecake is indeed the Food of the Gods. Sadly, there's enough calories in there to keep Zeus stuffed full all week too.

Ill report back after it:D

It is about 1" deep and the size of a dinner plate. I only spent that much because, well, I am a fucking idiot :D

(Also spent £20 on a bottle of rum but that's alright because no booze is too expensive or too cheap)
You spent £35 on rum and cake???!!! Forget what I said about being happy with whatever present you bring! Your Mum and I want the feckin works this year, laddie.

Tesco's will taste like shite though.

Not if you buy osme of their more decent stuff... which will cost £4

most of the M+S stuff is more clever marketing than quality worth the price. Tesco know this...

I bought three yesterday.

I'm now the proud possessor of two.
have you tasted them? are they any good? they look a bit short don't they?
I'd usually expect to pay at least £10 for a good panettone and I'm not sure if i sould make a special trip to go and get one or if I should just get one form M&S
might get some of their mince pies too, anybody tasted them?

I am currently knocking back Iceland's Raspberry Brulee Cheescake and let me tell you, for £3 its a bargain!

Nomnomnom!!!

Ooh, I haven't seen those ... I'm going to Spark's for sprouts tomorrow so will look for them :)

Dear lord - going to M&S for sprouts was an experience, but I did come back with a massive bag of them (and loads of overpriced veggie buffet stuff, some cranberry sauce and caramalised onion chutney :) ).

The queues were horrendous. Not only were they very long, slow, arduous queues, but they were full of old ladies :(

... I disagree, sadly their 'not just food, but M&S food' ads are spot on..

.....(((looks at wallet)))....

I prefer Waitrose myself but I like to give the Jews some money at Christmas, helps keep the wall in good nick and the arabs at bay.

I have a slab of concrete the size of a postage stamp for a 'garden', so the chances of me cultivating anything are slim.

However, my mother assures me I can grow beetroot in pots - so that is what I shall do next year. I loves beetroots
