Lurpak v I can't believe it's not butter

People who are entertaining the idea of mayonnaise as a suitable substitute for butter are nutters frankly. Someone should go around and recalibrate their tastebuds quickly

I tried Lurpak for the first time last week and think it's ace! Before I was using Anchor but I am a committed Lurpak convert now.

Best value around at the moment, at least as far as I can see, is the cheapo 75p a slab butter in Iceland. Not great butter, but at least as good as Lurpak, and costs a lot less.

Butter isn't the sort of thing that it's worth sticking to a brand name for. You just end up paying extra towards their TV advertising budget.
