Made a vast pot of leek and potato soup yesterday. So that
Had a nice lunch of orecchiette with broccoli, garlic chilli and tomatoes in Gino d'Acampo at Euston whilst waiting for the train home. I commented to the waiter that it was delicious, as he took my plate away, and he whispered 'You're totally worth it, madam' in my ear
Today's lunch was a use up all the stuff in the fridge special:
Spicy veggie rice
Chopped salad (lettuce, radish, tomatoes, beetroot)
Cannellini bean dip with pumpkin seeds on the top
It was well nice! I was quite surprised
It sounds lovely!
Yesterday I had toast and hummus with olives, and baklava for pudding.
Today a boring spicy spring greens soup.
Ham & lentil soup with a crusty roll. Cup of tea. 2 digestives and a punnet of raspberries.
Bento box of teriyaki chicken, rice, edamame beans, pickled cabbage and broccoli in peanut sauce.
I had a toastie with provolone, chili flakes and oregano.
Mackerel salad with garlic croutons scattered about. Cup of tea. Vanilla slice.
More spicy veggie rice, this time with leftovers from last night: fried chilli cabbage and peas, raita and mango chutney
Had a DELICIOUS new wrap from M&S. A pumpkin tortilla wrap with chicken marinated in coconut and mango with black beans and grated carrot and cucumber. Was SO tasty. And less than 2 grams of sugar so kind of healthy. I always get put off when the sugar levels are in red. I eat enough sugar the rest of the day without needing loads in my lunchtime sandwich aswell
Chicken escalope, cheese, salad, mayo and sriracha wrap. Eaten so much today I feel like a beach ball.
Two malted milk, two chocolate digestives. Feel sick
Chicken and rice.
Coffee with a flapjack
Cheese and pickle crusty cob. Cup of tea. Toffee fudge doughnut.
Chicken drumsticks with coleslaw and cherry tomatoes. Cup of tea. Hot cross bun. Bunch of grapes.
Didn't feel like much today so just had some peanut butter on toast.
Cheese and onion crisps white bread sandwich
Glass of milk.
Thai chicken noodle salad. Cup of tea. 3 digestives. Punnet of raspberries.
Yesterday I had cake for all three meals, so I'm having black quinoa, kale, seaweed and spinach with peanuts and chilli sauce.
Ham and cheese omelette with salad. Cup of tea. Custard tart. Handful of grapes.
My diet is ridiculous. Lunch/snacks today have included a bean salad, a hard boiled egg (good thing I have my own office ), cellery and carrot sticks and an apple. Then a piece of coconut and rasberry cake, a shortbread biscuit and a chocolate hobnob.
A fairly tasteless chicken baguette.
Cheese and onion butties today.
Homemade minestrone soup with granary bread & salt n vinegar square crisps. I’m not a huge fan as soup as the main event. It’s more of a starter but I made it to try & vary my lunches. It was lush but meh soup.
Salmon salad. Cup of tea. Chocolate eclair.
Thick homemade carrot soup with some added beans (delicious if I do say so myself!)
A seeded roll
And probably in around an hour, a nice cup of yorkshire tea and a chocolate brownie (since I've seen someone has left a box of each of these on the work kitchen table)
Spicey dal and brown rice.
Fruits of the forest yoghurt.
Currently eyeing up a Mars Bar.
Roasted tomato and basil soup. Cup of tea. Large slice of melon and a handful of walnuts.
Artichoke risotto from a packet, but an Italian packet, so it was still quite nice. Masala tea for afters that was so peppery I got hiccups.
Your chai sounds fit, mate.
Today, I had a cheese and chorizo sarnie.
