A tin of chickpeas with salt, pepper and chilli flakes; a glass of fizzy water and a banana.
A tin of chickpeas with salt, pepper and chilli flakes; a cuppa and an m&s mince pie for afters.
Really thick pea and ham soup with a chunk of crusty bread. Mug of hot chocolate and my first mince pie of the season, I'm sure it won't be the last
The change in the weather is governing my appetite, again
M&S 'fruity & fragrant wholesome grain pot' reduced to 80p
Plus a left over chicken leg and half an avocado in the fridge if I'm still peckish. Which I'm sure I will be.
Disappointing beans from a can. Maybe I ate too many of them :/
Zesty bean quinoa with added garlic, chili, tomatoes, avocado and cheese. And hot sauce. Still not particularly zesty but nice
Went to Coffee Republic as it was warm in there and they have free papers & wi-fi and comfy sofas. Plus they serve you quick.
Had a small latte and a new quite nice wrap with chicken and some salsa type thing that they heated up
Chickpeas with chilli flakes, salt and pepper
Leftover macaroni cheese and garlic bread. It's not quite enough so I need to get something extra, possibly one of the enormous samosas or a sausage roll from the Nisa.
Lentil, spinach and veg curry with rice, naan and mango chutney - £3.75 from the canteen
3 crumpets with cheese and Marmite. Cup of tea. Punnet of blueberries and a mince pie.
Cheese toastie covered in sriracha and dunked in Heinz mushroom soup
You don't have lactose intolerance like me then. Lunch sounds nice anyway. Why don't you have packed lunch?
There's plenty of lactose free milks. Well in the UK anyway.
Packed lunch tends to get eaten by 11 out of boredom so is pointless. Plus i like going out at lunchtime & it's too cold to stay outside
Roasted vine tomato soup and crusty roll. Cup of tea. Slice of lemon drizzle cake.
2 purple Quality Street.
French onion cup a soup with croutons. M&S fuller for longer roast chicken, roast pepper, vine tomato, and pesto flatbread. Very full now.
Turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce doorstep. Cup of tea. 2 French fancies.
Jacket potato with cheese and beans. So full and sleepy I can barely move.
(note to self, don't eat jacket potato for lunch again!!)
Beef stew and dumplings, mash, roast veg and green beans. Sticky toffee pudding and custard Staff Canteen!!!
I’m thinking a IKEA veggie hotdog then chips in the pub.
Prawn sandwich and s&v crisps.
2 large flat mushrooms filled with feta cheese and sprinkled with garlic bread crumbs. Ever so tasty! Cup of tea, my first Ecclefechan tart of the season, bliss
Too much as usual. I get so hungry and then eat more than I need & feel rubbish afterwards
Went to the local shop that has a 'salad' bar. You'd think 'salad' = healthy and light but it's not self-service - they cram it all in for you and it tends to be at least 70% pasta & coleslaw.
So anyway, wolfed that down then had 2 chocolate biscuits and a penguin, an apple and a cup of tea.
Schneiderbrot and two very small kippers.
I had this. The hotdog was really breakfast had before going round IKEA & the chips had at 2.45pm with a glass of wine. It was a winning lunch.
