some of the bill announced:

Ska Cubano – Responsible for an amazing all round festival experience – think Skatalites meets Bueno Vista Social Club! This is Ska Cubanos’ last gig of summer 05, so don’t miss the show.

· Young Blood Brass Band – New York’s coolest export, Young Blood takes ancient brass band music and moves it into a wicked mix of jazz and hip hop. The band’s Glasto gig rocked the festival and we can’t wait to welcome them back.

· The Priscillas – These girls wear thigh high PVC boots, they can kick like Charlies Angels, and they sing like a proper rock band.

· Jonny Electrolux – He creates mad and unstable characters using massive machines and mad ‘Burning Man’ Style imagery.

SATURDAY
2 pm ‘til noon Sunday

· The Bays – Guaranteed to get Vagueness popping and jumping in totally the right style with the biggest vibe possible.

· The Jaipur Kawa Brass Band – Rajasthani Gypsies, this band is known for its lively wedding gigs. Bringing a beautiful circus that charms audiences, an unbelievably skilled tambourine player and a fakir with secrets only known to his people, Jaipur Kawa is not to be missed.

· The Empty Headz – Featuring a whole host of breakbeat and hip hop producers and serious ska fanatics. Featuring MCs from Freestyler and a seven piece band, Festival Debut.

· Hiphoptimists – Andy Barlow of Lamb. This is his mind-boggling, funky, groovy, crazy beat new band, which debuted at Glastonbury Festival on the Drifts Stage.
·
Pink Freud Moment at 8am.

just wanted to say , and sorry dub, but Lost Vagueness , nowadays , makes me vomit , copiously ... what began as a party for travellers , letting their dreads down , so to speak, is now really no more than a posh kids ball, that i suspect is as much as part of the 'season' as all the other toff events ..

( though of course a lot of travellers are irredemablely posh too as it happens ..)

and i'm speaking from experiance .. watching chumbas at glastonbury last year singing "poor little rich girl shes the apple of her daddys eye" ( or something like that ..never big chumba fan!!) and seeing the posh girls stumbling out of the casino where no doubt some sleezy type was plying them with coke .. and all the chaps stuff ..and the caravans for hundreds of pounds a night .. with extras too alledgedly .. and lots of other allegations too that i wouldn't put on here .. it's just really really like i say vomit inducing ..


i'm all in favour of a bit of decadence but this is just becoming more and more drugged up posh kids partying .. this is where part of the eighties free party scene has ended up ... sad
