Lost car keys

cheers I’m home once I found out they lost the keys I went and got my spare. My main question is do I need to let the insurance company know and where do get a new fob? The dealership?

If it's an older car with a bog standard key without any of this fancy built-in chip gubbins then somewhere like Timpson's can cut you a new key otherwise it's probably the dealership.
I would keep on the valet company's case though, the gits have lost your key it's their responsibilty to find it again. It's probably on the wrong hook or something stupid.

Hope it doesn't come to this, but ultimately it's a jobs for the small claims court....lots of little bits to claim for, I would say.

A straightforward small claims court matter. They will settle on receipt of an invoice for the new keys/fob.

Bit late for you flypanam, but NEVER use any valet company not booked directly from the airport's own website. And even then know that often their short-stay parking will be similarly priced and you get to keep the keys.

Never use any valet parking anywhere unless you’re wealthy enough to not give any fucks if your car is totalled/disappeared etc.
