I'm sure this is an unfortunate question to ask, but I don't care.

But what exactly is the problem with Galloway? I don't agree with everything he says (his view on genetic research for one), but I've never heard him say anything that warrants the amount of criticism levelled against him. Maybe I just don't hear enough, but then I don't spend my days chasing after his speeches.

Is it because he appeared on BB (which was a silly idea but ultimately harmless I thought) or that he's always on TV?

I'd agree he has something of an ego, but he's a politician who appears in the media a lot and seems to attract phenomenal amounts of flack - having an ego would be vital!

He's a left wing MP, who has spoken out against the shortage of council houses and against those that blame immigrants for the shortage of them, he was very prominently against the war in Iraq, and is very vocal against Israel's excess. I've heard his comments on his meeting with saddam and they've been consistent over the years, his reason for meeting him seemed valid to me (to avert war).
