I know Shippy and he has lots of friends, myself included and a rich social life. He was at my leaving party this weekend for a start.

He seemed to ignore the social aspects of computers totally. Shippy and others don't use their machines in isolation.

they cut the bit where i said that in networking all computer require names so i just give mine amusing ones

in this case it used to be my main computer was mahoro (the robot maid) and therefore the laptop was minawa (her little sister in the show)

except that was my old computers my new ones i'm not sure about... i wonder if they should ingerit their names or get new ones
