I'm on to my second Netgear DG834. The Wireless one. The first one started having severe connection dropping issues after about 18 months. I tried everything to resolve. That included dropping the wired connection as well as the Wifi.
In the end I bought a new router, but went for the same model. Sounds stupid I know. But it had all the features I wanted and was easy to set up. When I got the knew one i just uploaded my old config file into it as well and back on line in 5 minutes. Pure lazyness.
