Look what was knocking on my door this morning!

We left it on the balcony for four hours tonight and it was waiting for us when we came back. I'm growing very attached to the little thing.

(As I was typing this, its head appeared between my two monitors. It is very cute!)

Heh I remember the days when kitten pix where banned on urban75, now the Ed has gone all cute on a liddle kitty!:D

I'd definitely take it to a vets and see if it has a chip, someone somewhere is probably rather upset :(
If it was my cat that had gone missing I would have been knocking on doors and been out looking for it.

Instead it's me that being doing the door-knocking and there's been no responses to my posters.

It is a horribly sweet little critter though and seems to like being in our house very, very much.

Maybe they decided they couldnt' keep it.

Or maybe some kids found it and brought it home and their mum said they couldnt' keep it and they hid it on their balcony and it got to yours.

Our balcony only goes one way (we're at the end with a big drop to the left) but it's never shown the slightest inclination to get up and go along the balconies, even after we've left it locked out there all afternoon.

Have you checked it's IP address yet?
Could just be another Firky alter in my opinion.

Pretty tough one Ed.
If a cat comes to you and it all seems to fit then you have to keep the little chap I guess but there may be a crying child somewhere.

:)

It could be a number of things but I'd like to think that the kitty went looking for a home and found one.
I love the way it's looking in the window, seems to be thinking 'what are you doing in my house?'

:D

Kitteh has found his home I think. :D Vets tomorrow though, just in case. If there's no chip and it looks like you now belong to him, remember to get him checked for FIV and leukemia.

Some people are quite rubbish about their cats. We had an alien kitten living with us for nearly three weeks before the owners put posters up and started knocking on doors. They had been on holiday

It's gorgeous!

All the cats that hang about outside our place are greedy, unfriendly and intimidating to our two cats, so consider yourself lucky this one's cute and little. :D

I've got a spare bag of cat litter if you need it. You don't need a proper litter tray, a washing up bowl will do.

did it meow in a geordie accent? :hmm:

It's Firky.........he's come back as a kitten. I'd watch it Editor, it looks fucking evil.

yeah i'd already made that joke, love. dear oh dear.

one of our cats never comes home, cos some woman down the road keeps feeding him even though she's been asked loads of times not to with explanations why. and then she makes snide comments like "do you think he'll come home today?"

i might get a bounty out on her soon.

It could be a kitten of one of the local strays. There's a load of them on the market and they're very adventurous and sociable usually. It looks like the one our neighbour adopted last year who was one of their offspring. It was a bit undernourished but due to being very lovely and affectionate bulked up in no time thanks to me and my neighbours all being kitty lovers :o:D

If the cat wants to stay it should stay!!!

My cat never ran off or got adopted by anyone else, do you know why, because I kept her happy :p (before I got her from rescue home she lived in a house with kids and was terrified of them - so maybe kitteh ran away from a bad home) - although cats are great fun for little children, it's not necessarly true for the poor cat.

Our old neighbours used to do this it was really upsetting. Big Fat Ron used to disappear for days at a time and I would be in tears and frantic with worry.

I would definitely take it to the vets just to make sure it isn't chipped though. It would be awful if someone was feeling as shit as I used to.
