Look what was knocking on my door this morning!

hiraethified
Fuck knows how it ended up on our 8th floor outside balcony - there's really no easy way to get there - but this kitten is an absolute cutie.

I knocked on doors to see who it belongs to but no one's claimed it yet. We left it back on the balcony this afternoon (with food and water) and went to town thinking it would find its way back but it was waiting for us on our return.

I've put up some notes in the block asking for its owner to get in touch... but I wouldn't mind if no-one claims the lovely little puddy tat!

:D

It's Firky.........he's come back as a kitten. I'd watch it Editor, it looks fucking evil.

No one's claimed it yet :)

It's an inquisitive, lively thing that has managed to climb the highest shelves throughout the house and after being a little bit nervous, it just settled between me and Eme in a little ball on the bed for a little sleep.

Everybody.... *aw!*

It must belong to someone though because it's in good health but, strangely, has no collar.

It's now sat in the bath playing with a dripping tap and having a drink.

Maybe you should take it to a vets tomorrow and get it scanned for an id chip. then give it back to its rightful owner. stealing kitteh is bad :(

either that or just keep it! have you thought about names? Philomena is a good one :)

Well, I've stuck a couple of signs up saying "Cat found." It can't possibly have come far though seeing as we're eight floors up and unless it's like a, err, cat burglar, it must have come from someone's balcony along the row.

Finders keepers, ed, I reckon.

Don't get too disappointed if someone claims it, mind. I looked after a 'stray' with a broken leg in India for about a week until a very pissed off Indian woman came and took him back. Sad to see him go - I got attached very quickly.

Big dose of Siamese in that kitteh, face shape an all, watch for kitteh controllimg your behaviour. I think that is a boy cat (face shape again). Bastet or osiris would be good, boris, Gypsy, Friend?

It's bloody energetic! It nearly dived bombed Eme in the bath and now it's worked its way to my top bookshelf. Not sure where's it's going for a pee though...

*sniffs

We'll probably leave it out on the balcony again tonight with some food and water and maybe a cushion. That should be alright no? It'll probably trash the house otherwise!

Nooo its very cold out and poor kitteh will get a frozen nose. Best let it sleep at the end of your bed, where it can kill your feets if they move too much.

Cats own humans not the other way around. Don't be worried if it disappears for a while. It's probably working out who would the best human pets to have...

if it doesnt have a collar then it mighe have a chip, you could take it to a vet to have it scanned (do they have scanners at vets?)
otherwise, it looks like you've been adopted :) you lucky lucky people

Can't you make up a litter box?? Ripped up paper in some kind of tray?? You must be able to find a fruit & veg crate somewhere near you.
