That's right - I made this. Sweet shortcrust pastry, whipped cream, fruit. Super rockado!

Post your baking triumphs here (pics please).

wow, that looks Lovely,mmmmmmmmmm:)

mmmmmmmmm @ this thread.

did some work at a neighbouring office today - the woman sat opposite me took great delight ( ) in informing me that she talks about food all the time, especially naughty food that she feels bad about eating.

very, very strange.

Yes indeed :D although I feel honour-bound to point out that I made the pastry case myself, and whipped the cream myself too.

How depressing. Make sure you spend the day shovelling cream cakes into your mouth without ever acknowledging the fact :D

Simple yet tasty. My Victoria sponge is more of a dense biscuit, but it tastes right nice all the same.

That is the correct texture afaik. :D

Looks bloody gorgeous!

I love how there's nothing in the foreground to suggest any perspective or size comparison. That cake could be 2 feet high  :D

umm - well, they're medium sized strawberries, it's standing on the lid of a roses chocolate tin, and it was about one foot tall.

Just when I had managed to get the memory of sponge cake with cream and strawberries out of my mind...

That looks awesome spangles. I might make something similar for when my nan visits this weekend :D
