Who's going tonight? I don't think I've been to Carlshalton Athletic before?

I’m in for tonight. For those that are interested in such things there’s also a rather substantial air raid shelter still extant on the adjoining Wrythe Recreation Ground!

Haven't got time to post full directions. Ground is in Colston Avenue. Nearest station is Carshalton, few hundred yards / 5 minutes walk, trains from Balham or Tulse Hill. Carshalton Beeches is around 15 minutes walk/ just under 1 mile.

Search National Rail Enquiries for your best route.

Bus 157 from Morden Underground station runs every 12 minutes close to the ground via Carshalton station, journey time around 17 minutes.

Easy peasy from Loughborough Junction getting there - 25 min direct train service to Carshalton with 3 min stroll to the ground (but not so easy back - have to change at Cla'am Junc).

It’s bomb proof but perhaps not Meadow proof.

Wonder whether Meadow's office is bomb proof ......
The Hope, West Street. No contest. 5 minutes walk from the ground, close to the station.

I watched Carshalton on the weekend after our postponement and thought the pitch played as well as I've seen a 3G/4G play.

Mate just rung me and told me lost 0-1 goal in the last few minutes
He was fuming called them "Bottlers" bottle it in semis bottle it in play offs"
I think a drink or two was taken
Glad i never went now, was getting a lift and car broke down so came back home
Shame but the league is still on
I bet they are gutted these two are in the final, will be one man and his dog there
    0h well

Bit unfair on the finalists, good luck to both of them. Bottlers, yeah can’t disagree with that other than a couple of great play off semi results, followed by a poor final performance. Not nice but it’s getting a bit predictable.

I know in the grand scheme of things this isn't top priority but another semi loss to a lower league team is getting a bit pathetic :(

Not the best performance - agreed.

Considering the circumstances. Allot of allowances should be made. Not saying they should throw it away.

    Are they even being paid?
