They dont have to be . if they are too far they might not be included in the project, but I will still photograph them. Thank you very much for your suggestions :)

Sorry Puddy_Tat I now see you've already done the brown dog.
Another very moving one is the animal war memorial in the middle of park lane, which has a menagerie of animals.

I seem to remember a golden grasshopper somewhere in the city. Not really an animal, the golden hind?

Apologies for veering off topic, but that reminds me of the floral arrangements at a very swish Tamil wedding I went to last summer.

That's some shot Pickman's model and thank you. Not from a publicly accessible area I'd wager.

the statue of terence cuneo (artist who did a lot of railway paintings) at waterloo has a hidden mouse (it was his thing to include a mouse somewhere in every painting)

statue was above the eurostar bit - not sure where it has been moved to

This really is worthy of a pic as it is really good and like the head at Marble Arch, so terribly moving :( I defy anyone not to be moved by it, if they took a minute or two to look at it properly.

Dick Whittington's Cat near Archway station - supposedly the spot where he heard the bells and the '............thrice Lord Mayor of London' prediction.

I seem to remember a horse statue while cycling around Thamesmead area. I'll try to remember to have a trawl through my photo albums tonight for anything I've seen on my cycling adventures.

Apparently there are some statues of horses (with blokes in big hats riding them) around Whitehall and Parliament Square
