London Anarchist movement

Fuck off to your own threads and get a life. You are way wrong on all those numbers which shows you really have no idea. Wanker:mad:

Oooohhh I made Attica mad. I iz scared....

No really Attica, show me photos of the thousands of anarchists who turn up and like you can totally prove me wrong.

No wait my pwnage awaits.

I mean with Ian Bone, you, and his fan club you could easily match thefirst poll option

 Wanker. No, you didn't make me mad, you are just an annoying wanker.

And if only you could be held to account for you first pathetic post... preferably with a rope cos you've got it badly wrong.:p:D

Does Will Self really post on here or is it a running Urban joke?, then again, the number of people who are changing their posting names means it is hard to keep up anyway..

Fucking hell. This is unexpected!

It's a momentous decision, and one that has national implications.

http://ianbone.wordpress.com/2008/02/29/london-anarchist-movement-set-up/

At a packed meeting at Ramparts on Thursday night attended by most London anarchist groups THE HISTORIC DECISION was taken to set up the LONDON ANARCHIST MOVEMENT . The first action of the new movement will be on May 2nd at the Mayoral election count at the GLA building to curse a pox on all the candidates at 4pm when the results are declared under the slogan:

NEITHER TOFF,COPPER,CROOK OR NAZI!

Be there!

:hmm::D

What a deeply bizarre post. How can you suddenly decide you've got a MOVEMENT? That's not really how movements work IMHO. And it really isn't a momentous decision is it? There have been anarchists in London since there have been anarchists anywhere, this just means they'll start holding bigger meetings at publicised venues and times so the police will have no trouble whatsoever finding out what the anarchists are up to. Although if shouting at people and waving banners is all you folks have in mind then it's unlikely the police will care very much.

It's spam, it's in the wrong forum, and it's time for longcat. :)<snip...no it bloody well isn't>

But surely no-one would turn up on time....?

:p

Why don't you stop getting at him? Not just you but others who turn up on Attica';s threads over and over again just to start a fucking ruck. It's like Tobyjug all over again..

shame this thread has degenrated .. cool graphics pk even if it is an attempt to get thread binned! :D

but yes the basis of teh trhead is true and i believe it is a BIG deal. sure it is NOT a movement but the meeting represented a very large % of active @ in london and this is teh first such gathering for many years decades i am aware of

it comes on teh back of negative stuff - economic crisis in US / prospect of serious food price rises even shortages / biggest ever far right represenation / etc

and positive stuff - massive disillusionment with established politics and and reports from all over that people have had enough and that only an @, being anti authoritarian and anti dogmatic, was capable of filling the void left by the clear abandonment of the working class by all the maj parties and much of the gobbledegook far left

the meeting was unanimous in two things ( in a slightly contradictory fashion) -

that we now is the time to act but we must be real and non dogmatic and orientated to the working class

but that also we would, as groups and individuals support each other in what each other is doing to create inertia and synergies

there was a very strong feeling that this may be our moment to provide a lead in helping stop / change this disasterous slide into barbarism we are witnessing

there was also unanimity in supportting the GLA pisstaking demo against the Crook the Cop The Fascist and the Toff ..

This is not a leading question in any way, but is there much of an Anarchist Federation presence in this new group? It seems to be a pretty broad church which is a very good thing if true :)

Hmmm, wants photos of anarchists, eh?

They'll show up in a half assed sort of way, look awfully well meaning, and then write a half assed critique of why it failed - perhaps because they should have put more effort, spirit, dynamism, spunk, and balls:hmm: into it in the first place!:D:hmm:

I didn't come out of it feeling this was a new "group" - more just a way to bring local groups, campaign/issue groups, individuals etc together. There were some members of AF there, couldn't say how many though as I have no idea who is/isn't a member.

i know nothing of the politics of the far left or anarchist groups but it appears that attica is getting a bit of a kicking for trying to promote something he believes in and from looking at that link to the derelict building that was done up it looks like it can't be bad. i get the impression that some people see these groups as nothing more than a minority of a fringe that will change nothing and are there to be laughed at. i don't see whats wrong with what attica mentions in his posts.

It is nice to read a post which it is from a sensible mind, well done sir/madam (delete as applicable). It doesn't happen often enough around here.

i like what you've posted but me "sensible mind" i think you sir haven't read enough of my posts. :D

this is a load of bollocks.

Attica please mate, don't post up stuff you are guessing at. I was at the meeting and this is about as momentous and historic as the kebab me and thora had afterwards, actually far less.

I'm in favour of Bone's sensible, measured idea of having a 'plague on both yer houses' event is a good one and i said it. But that was hardly why ppl from every anarchist group in london bar very few got together; we hoped to looked at strategy and direction. We did. It didn't lead to any obvious conclusions.
