Humm you are looking at about £120 for a coat before tax and postage.

Forbidden Planet seem to be stocking quite a few books about all this now. Even ones imported from Japan (not sure who is buying these if they can't read them).

I did, before I posted, couldn't find the site.

don't worry, i wasn't thinking you were thick, it was one of my attempts at "humour", asking someone to google lolita. it all makes sense in my head, but doesn't often translate well to page.

Yeah.. I was careful to google "lolita clothing" ;)

Its been years & years since I read the book but don't I remember that Lolita's dress style was several years older, not all little girly? So shouldn't a Lolita coat be a bit of sensible winter gear?

the book is quite removed from the dress style

indeed the dress style is removed again from loloicon manga stuff... loligoth loli charactors arn't the main stay

actully i'm not sure of what point i'm trying to make

It's a japanese version - sort of a mishmash of naughty schoolgirl/lolita/fantasy/sexual perversion :)

e2a shippy cleared it up for me

The price is so high, in order to act as a caution against anyone actually buying one.

and what do you wear JC K-mart clothes? :p

Shippy - No I havent have you got the DVD?

not that it's an acurate look into the lolita trend... it is afterall a comedy... but in that the look of the main charactor is said to be influenced by her love of the rococo era and is all about extravagene and luxury ... with a mix of the coquettish

The coats vary from about 60-70 up to about 100 and then some of them have huge postage on top  :(

*Looks at date and wishes payday would hurry up*
