Lolita coat that doesn't cost the earth?

You read the book, Zenie?

It's kind of like that school disco trend a few years ago which was really just a dress like a school girl thing.

Okay, fine indoors, but take a step back and have a look at what it's all about.

I'm not even saying it's 'good' or 'bad', but it feels kind of weird, at least to me.

I like weird

*wants* :o :D

actually I have a pair like that but without the feathers - maybe I could just clip some on..

I like some of those coats.. but would prefer them in black or red.. or maybe hot pink.. in leather maybe, or pvc.

I used to frequent a website had a "lolita" range, can't for the life of me remember the site's name though :(

I always wanted some of those cheap trash see through stripper shoes, but I don't think I could walk in them and they'd just end up rotting away in the bottom of the wardrobe, but still they could be a handy thing to have lying around

I bought some a few years back. I just used to get them out and look at them. I ebayed them to some bloke (who had requested I wear red nail polish in the photos :D ).

I am hopeless in even a medium heeled shoe, I've a torn ligament in my ankle which makes me extra wobbly, plus I wear orthotics.

some people get all a quiver and terribly excited if they have the heels of the shoes the woman is wearing rub on them and dig in to them during nookie, so i've heard.

yes, I've heard that too.

I was in a club once and one of us had on these fantastic boots. Some random male wanted her to walk on him.

I don't think this is just Japanese anymore is it?

Well the beginning of the thread is yes  :p

Ask your wife if she can get me one of those coats cheap please? :)

I'm sure she hasn't got enough on her plate right now? :D

Yes, I'm thinking it's a little unlikely. I am going back to Tokyo early next year so I could have a look round Shibuya or pick somthing up mail order.

I'll have a quick online check first, they are probably really pricey in Japan anyway.

god you are brave if you are planning to wear that first coat pictured on the street for day wear! :p its not my chosen style, but more power to you zenie..it will really cheer up and possibly inspire people to be bolder in expressing themselves thru their clothes
would love to see more pictures of what you buy..its an interesting look, but not for me cos i dont want to project vulnerablity

the full on lotita look is a bit extreme for the high street..so sadly if you want ready made stuff you will have to pay top wack:( ..if you love this look £100 might be worth it to you..

the high street shops have some edwardian/victorian styled coats at the moment(i have one from primark which is a bit east end street urchin 1910:cool: )but these high st shops wont ever have anything as wild as the stuff u have been posting..if they did i think i think it might get reduced quite quickly..i got loads of bondage trews 1/2 price from primark a few years back cos well it was too OTT for most women

if you have time there are many useful sites on the net for copying/ doing underground gothic looks cheaply..i had bookmarked some ages back but i cant find them now..any way have fun
