Loathsome Ben Goldsmith whines to the press after his posh celeb bash by Grenfell was interrupted

If you really think that anyone here is favour of anti-Semitic remarks, why phrase it as a stupid question? Name names.

Editor, I suppose, or whatever the original poster is called.

Should be noted that there's mention made (in the comments of the article linked to in post #4) of a tweet from a full on stalker who harassed a poster from here over several years before she was convicted, iirc.

 :D

The Mail's hyperbole is pretty funny tbh. It's as if Corbyn ordered the anarchist anti-semitic units into action himself :D

It's more than just the Mail smearing Corbyn in this way. However, it was the Mail that launched its own anti-semitic campaign to undermine Ed Milliband by smearing Ralph Milliband. The Mail which under the current owners grandfather supported Hitler in the 30s.

'Rothschild' is a euphemism for Jewish amongst anti Semites.

The Goldsmith family are Jewish and one of them was once married to one of the Rothschilds so perhaps the person who said it meant it in a factual way as opposed to being anti semitic. Hard to tell without knowing if this is actually happened, who said what and why.

Yeah because calling someone by the name of their ex-wife is totally normal, nothing to see here just use of the Rothschild trope in a 'factual way'.

The bone tweet is him copying what someone else said and failing to make clear what he's doing - i was made aware - by someone very angry at it - of the exact same quote posted by friends of class war on facebook the night this 'happened'. Bone is obv making a public point of defending anyone involved against bullshit thrown at them as well as spotting a gap for future actions.

I was just commenting on Ian Bone's tweet.

Ian Bone should know better, I agree. I was giving the benefit of the doubt to the person who wrote it in the first place, because a look at their Facebook gives me the impression that they are perhaps not very politically savvy.

it is inconceivable that some evidence of the event in the form of police statements, phone footage and so on would not have emerged.
Yup 'Pics or it didn't happen'. Considering people will livestream themselves eating fucking toast these days it's rather surprising that not a single person posted anything about being 'forced into a minute's silence' and that the photographer snapping posing girls 'moments before' the protesters entered didn't get anything. :hmm:

Apart from the usual selfie-obsessed guests and hangers on, there's usually shitloads of paparazzi photographers around these dire events, yet ne'er a single photo has to emerge.
