Living on your own

i was very happy living on my own, and then dervish moved in accidentally. and thats nice too :) but i did like the on my own bit though. wouldnt get rid of him mind.

the idea of moving into a shared house fills me with dread. not again, uni was enough. the words 'house meeting' make my blood run cold.

one of my parents friends is about 45 and has never spent a night in a house alone. she went from home to uni, to shared houses, to marriage, to having children.

I'm coming up to 6 months of living on my own. I didn't like it at first but now I love it and don't think I could go back to sharing. The luxury of having my own bathroom, not having to wait to go to the loo, not having to clean hairs out of the bath, being able to leave my washing up without being moaned at, peace and quiet (not counting next door neighbour playing "what a feeling" on repeat).
