Living in a Cave!

Life is all too easy for me ATM :D

Stoned to fuck. Cashed up. Drunk to fuck. Hitting the tapas bars and listening to conversations of American students! This is not healthy.

THERE IS A PADLOCK. It lets you in. There is a fireplace, oven, estufa...

Sacramonte is beautiful in summer. If your door is open at night, you are keeping an open house. If your door is closed....

Rarely locked.

Thread reignited because...

Bario Senegal is currently being bulldozed!

I don't have enough information ATM, but, I know people, families were very rudely awoken at 6AM by police with bulldozers.

Anyone reading here with good media contacts please help. I will get my local contacts on the case immediately.

Not that anyone is interested...

Caves are being evicted and flattened by the day to make way for hotel development. End of an era for Granada. It was one of the last places in Western Europe where people could live totally outside of the system and practice their music, or art.

My cave valley remains safe, but Granada is changing.

I am still stuck in this hole :D Plenty of fun and great guests who have all loved the place. Couple of very nice parties. Everybody loves it except me. I am just too old.

Latest news on the San Miguel Alto caves is an eviction April 11th. People are putting in offers for better caves/cave homes that have been effectively squatted for decades. I'm not sure if anything will happen.

I love Granada and the vibe cave dwellers give the place, but I am struggling once again to make cash. I am going back to Ibiza! Work and the best company I know waits even if I didn't really enjoy it too much last time. I will give it another chance. Probably hang around here to see what happens with the caves. Many fantastic memories for me.

I am told it a sunny 20ºC in London. Very wet 6ºC here. Tiempo loco! I was about to put my winter coat somewhere. Not sure where mind.
